Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

I am glad to present the Hymns and songs  in this digital compilation that are being felicitated from Methodist Hymnals. Hymns are depiction of portable sermons. For many years, we have been living with these old and traditional Hymnals but it’s only in these recent years, I have come to know that this is profoundly engaging and fascinating work of spiritual worship. It has brought comfort to many souls in distress and mark all the important occasions, spiritual moments and emotions in the lives of the people of God. The spirit, love, passion and the agony of sins are so beautifully expressed in each hymn that it fits all occasions and comprehends most beautifully and briefly everything that is in the entire Bible. Over the years the trend of singing modern songs have come into fashion and thus traditional and older heritage is slowly diminishing. The idea behind this work is the easy and convenient singing on any occasion when handling a big book of Hymnals is difficult.

I thank God almighty who motivated Mr. Anoop Andrew Luke of our Ingraham Methodist Church to develop such an important and creative art. Singing the historic hymns will keep reminding us that we are not the first generation who have wrestled and prayed, asked and believed. We walk gladly in the footsteps of our fathers written praises to Christ that have stood the test of time. This effort will definitely help the modern worshipers to revise and articulate the way of worshipping.
